January Economic Activity Data Due

  • January activity due at 1300BST/0800ET and Wednesday’s February industrial production data will set the tone for first-quarter growth expectations. Central bank’s economic activity index known as IBC-Br probably dropped by 0.10% in Jan. on a monthly comparison, according to the median estimate in a Bloomberg survey, after a 0.29% hike in the previous reading.
  • Separately, Planning Minister Simone Tebet is expected to hold a press conference about Budget Guidelines Bill at 1500BST/1000ET.
