JET FUEL: India’s Making Efforts to Hit SAF Targets

India’s Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu Sep. 9 pitched for SAF adoption in the country, according to the Economic Times, cited by Bloomberg.

  • Naidu said at a conference organised by industry body Ficci, that efforts are on to ensure that 1% of SAF is blended with conventional fuel by 2027.
  • This aligns with the framework set out by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
  • This target will then raise to 2% by 2028.
