JGBS: JGB futures shed 6 ticks in overnight trade, holding a tight range.
- Worth re-flagging the latest Nikkei report which pointed to the Japanese
government upgrading its economic view in its upcoming June assessment. Perhaps
no real surprise there given the global dynamic and how gloomy things were in
May.
- Participants will also have to re-assess the moves in broader risk assets
since late NY hours, with U.S. equity index futures edging lower on the
Bolton/Trump story.
- 5-Year JGB supply will be supplemented by 12-month issuance today, with
international security flow data also due.
