JGBS
JGBS: JGB futures sit 9 ticks lower on the day, off the early afternoon lows,
with continued focus on the aforementioned supplementary fiscal budget/issuance
matters (source report details on the matters are available in earlier bullets),
with the releases providing little to shock vs. the touted notional total ahead
of the move.
- Curve has actually flattened a little in afternoon trade, with some
underperformance in 4-7 Year paper on the day, perhaps on the back of the spread
of issuance out to 30-Years, which may not have been as duration heavy as some
expected.
- Swap rates are marginally mixed on the day, after some light curve steepening
in early trade.
- Elsewhere, it was a relatively quiet session for the space.
- 2-Year supply headlines locally on Thursday.
