JPY: Goes Offered

AUD

AUD/JPY has shed 28 pips and last changes hands at Y83.87, moving further away from the two-week high printed last Thursday. The rate has faltered as caution has dominated today's Asia-Pac trade.

  • A breach of the ascending 50-DMA at Y83.40 would allow bears to take aim at Apr 9/13 lows of Y83.04/03. Conversely, a clearance of Apr 15/2 highs of Y84.41/48 would shift topside focus to Mar 18 high of Y85.45.
  • AUD/JPY 1-month ATM implied volatility has ticked away from a new multi-month low of 8.05% printed this morning and last sits at 8.39%.
