Kashagan Recovery Nudges Kazakh Oil Production Higher June

Restored flows from the giant Kashagan field pushed Kazakhstan’s crude and condensate production higher in June.

  • Kazakhstan’s total output of crude and condensate for June was 7.41m tons.
  • At 1.80m bpd in June, Kazakhstan’s production was 24kbd higher than 1.78mn bpd in May.
  • Production remains shy of a record production rate of 1.91mn bpd – set in February 2020.
