Kazakhstan Shipped 290k tons Of Crude To Germany YTD

Kazakhstan has delivered 290k tons of crude via the Druzhba pipeline to Germany so far this this year, KazTransOil said.

  • Earlier this month Germany reached a deal with Kazakhstan to boost supplies for its Schwedt refinery. Under the deal, KazMunayGas will send 100,000 t/month of crude oil to Germany’s Schwedt refinery until the end of the year.
  • There is an agreement to extend the deal until the end of 2024, people familiar with the matter said.
  • The latest deal is expected to allow the refinery to operate at 70% of capacity rather than 60%.
