Kazakhstan’s Refineries Operate At Normal Capacity

All three oil refineries in Kazakhstan are operating normally, following a power outage on 3 July, Dmitry Makeev, deputy CEO of KazMunayGas, said.

  • "The Atyrau refinery has fully restored its operations after the power outage on July 3”, Makeev said.
  • Scheduled turnarounds were completed at the Pavlodar petrochemical plant and at the Shymkent refinery, he added.
  • Kazakhstan’s daily oil production has gradually recovered in recent days. Prior to the outage, Kazakhstan’s daily oil output stood at 252.6kbpd.
