KEBCO Exports Rising in September

OIL

Kazakh Export Blend Crude Oil {KEBCO) outflows trending higher in September according to Vortexa.

  • The majority of KEBCO has so far travelled to the 100kbd Petromidia (connected to KMG) refinery, located in the Romanian port city of Midia. Other well-demanded locations in Europe include Rotterdam and Italy, particularly Eni's Milazzo refinery.
  • KEBCO has physical characteristics that are comparable to the Russian Urals making the grade a possible alternative for refineries set up around Urals.
  • The grade flows through Russia but is exempt from international sanctions because of its Kazakh origin.
