Kiwi Falters In Muted Trade

The kiwi has given away some of yesterday's gains and sits at the bottom of the G10 pile as we type. New Zealand reported 198 new cases today, with a weak positive result in Wellington.

  • Other than that, major crosses have held tight ranges, as recent headline flow has provided little to rock the boat. The DXY has edged higher from the off.
  • UK & Canadian retail sales as well as Norwegian GDP take focus going forward. Comments are due from Fed's Waller & Clarida, ECB's Lagarde & Weidmann as well as BoE's Pill.
