Kremlin Says Putin, Nat Sec Council Regret 'Ukraine Being Slow At Talks'

Russia's state-run IFX reporting that 'Kremlin says regrets were expressed at a meeting of Putin and Russian security council over Ukraine being slow at talks'. At present there is no set date or time for a fifth round of ceasefire talks between Russia and Ukraine.

  • IFX cites Kremlin spox Dmitri Peskov in saying that Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu updated Putin and the security council on the operation in Ukraine. Despite being a staunch Putin supporter, there has recently been speculation as to Shoigu's wherabouts as he has not appeared in public in some time. This has raised questions regarding his health and/or his standing within Putin's cadre of supporters.
  • Tass: The economic situation was discussed by Putin and the security council.
