Kuwait’s Al Zour Refinery To Start Exports Soon

Kuwait’s Al Zour refinery is scheduled to start exporting oil products in a few days, KIPIC deputy CEO Khalid Al Awadhi told CNBC Arabia.

  • The refinery has a combined crude-processing capacity of 615,000 bpd.
  • The Al-Zour refinery started the first phase of commercial operations on 6 November.
  • Kuwait Petroleum Corp set the official selling price for Kuwait Export Crude at a premium of $3.20/bbl to Oman-Dubai benchmark for December to Asia, according to Bloomberg sources.
