Kyiv's Top Security Officers Reiterate Russia Is Staging Provocations In ORDLO

Ukraine does not see a full-scale military operation by Russia at the moment, but efforts to provoke a response from Kyiv's security forces are ongoing, National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov told 1+1 TV channel.

• Danilov: "The goal is for us to start responding powerfully militarily (...) in order to accuse us of being involved in what they would like to happen in our territory. We have to be restrained, no matter how much we want to respond."
• His comments are doing the rounds in Ukrainian media amid reports of continued exchange of fire between Ukrainian military and pro-Russian rebels in several localities across the Donbas, with some social media accounts circulating (unverified) reports about disruptions of internet/mobile phone connectivity in eastern Ukraine.
• Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny issued a statement noting that the army is planning an evacuation of local population amid the the risk of further escalation of fighting in ORDLO. He reiterated that all operations of the Ukrainian military are purely defensive.
