Norway's main opposition, the centre-left Labour Party, retain a lead over the governing centre-right Conservatives in the latest Respons opinion poll. • While the red bloc (Labour, Centre, Socialist Left) currently lead the blue bloc (Conservatives, Progress, Liberals, Christian Democrats), there is no guarantee that these three parties will be able to form a majority gov't depending on which other parties cross the 4% electoral threshold, thereby winning levelling seats at the expense of other, larger parties.
  • As such, the environmentalist Greens or far-left Red Party could have to be invited into gov't to form a majority coalition, although this would likely result in significant policy disagreements. The Centre Party have already said they will not work with the Greens, while Labour leader (and likely next PM) Jonas Gahr Store has said his party will not work with the Greens or the Red Party.
