JAPAN: Last week saw Japanese investors step up the pace of their foreign stock
buying to the quickest weekly net pace seen since March (Y813.4bn), per the
latest weekly international security flow data. Meanwhile Japanese investors
sold foreign bonds (in net terms) for the 9th week out of the last 11.
- Foreign investors upped the pace of their net Japanese bond purchases to the
highest level seen since March, at Y551.4bn, while flipping to net buying of
Japanese stocks, albeit for a relatively paltry Y75.4bn.
