Libyan Loading Program Shows Sharara Exports Back to 130kbpd in Feb

A Libyan crude loading program shows Sharara is expected to export six cargoes totalling 130kb/d in February compared to just 41kb/d in January according to Bloomberg.

  • The Sharara exports were limited to only 1.26mbbls in January with the field shut by protesters for about three weeks.
  • Libya’s oil production returned to 1.2mb/d following the restart of its largest field Sharara according to the Libyan oil minister Jan 23.
  • Es Sider exports will be 8.8mbbl, or 303kb/d in February compared with 284kb/d in January.
