Light Twist Steepening Impetus Creeps In

US TSYS

The futures curve has come under some modest twist steepening pressure in recent dealing, with the front end remaining underpinned by the regional reaction to the soft U.S. PMI data & FOMC meeting minutes, while longer dated futures (WN & US) have been a bit more reluctant to hold their bid after failing to make a meaningful break above their respective Wednesday peaks. Cash trade remains closed, with news flow light during Asia-Pac hours.
