Lightly Bid, Focus On Rinban

JGBS

Early Tokyo trade sees futures through the overnight high, but still holding within the recent range, with the contract last +7 on the day. The richening in the cash curve has been fairly parallel outside of the underperformance in the 3-4 Year zone.

  • Local data was generally better than expected, although there was a deeper than expected downtick in the job-to-applicant ratio.
  • Upcoming BoJ Rinban op results eyed.
