CHINA PRESS: Listed Chinese companies have paid upwards of 20% less in taxation
and fees this year, according to a report in the Securities Times. Citing
official sources, the Times said listed companies paid an average of 6.81% of
their revenue in taxes in fees this year, more than one fifth lower than in
2018. The lower tax and fee policies were "reducing companies costs and boosting
business and stock prices," Pan Helin, senior researcher of Pangu Think Tank
told the newspaper.
