Little Changed Vs. Pre-U.S. PCE Levels

GILTS

Gilts look to Tsys for direction in recent dealing, trading either side of pre-U.S. data levels before settling a little higher. Participants had to digest the strong real personal spending data and underlying trend rates in PCE, on top of the initial PCE headlines, with the latter providing little deviation vs. wider expectations.

  • Futures tick to the pre-data range, last +5 at 98.43, while cash yields are 3bp lower to 1bp higher as the curve twist steepens.
  • SONIA futures are -0.5 to +3.5 through the blues, while BoE-dated OIS trades flat to 3bp lower on the day.
