LNG at Sea For 20 Days Rose 8.5% Last Week

The total estimated quantity of LNG on tankers that have not unloaded for at least 20 days rose by 8.5% last week to 3.71mn tons as of 31 March, according to Bloomberg estimates.

  • Volumes remained well above the five-year average of 1.391mn tons and above 2023 levels of 1.916mn tons.
  • The estimated quantity of LNG on tankers that have not unloaded for at least 30 days also increased to 1.856mn tons as of 31 March, up from 1.572mn tons a week earlier, and the highest since 30 November.
