LNG

Total LNG imports into NW Europe are slowing down with less arrivals in June compared to May according to Bloomberg ship tracking.

  • A total of 13 cargoes arrive into NW Europe in the first seven days of June compared to 21 in the same period in May. Up to 21 cargoes have now arrived so far this month with another 15 currently scheduled in the next ten days.
  • European LNG imports could be impacted by lower US exports due to maintenance at Sabine Pass and an unplanned halt to Norway’s Hammerfest LNG until 14 June. Total European LNG sendout has held around 385mcm/d this week after falling to around 350mcm/d over the weekend with outages at the import terminals of Montoir LNG and Zeebrugge LNG this week.
