LNG on Water for More Than 20 days up 0.5%

The volumes of LNG cargoes on the water for more than 20 days rose 0.5% on the week, according to Bloomberg.

  • LNG on the water totalled 2.87m mt Aug. 13, compared to 2.85m mt the previous week.
  • Despite a rise in LNG on the water, the market continues to await the outcome of negotiations at Australian LNG facilities, amid the looming threat of strike action.
  • Meanwhile, import levels of LNG into Northwest Europe are expected to remain tepid in August compared to July, according to Bloomberg, as storage levels approach 90% capacity.
