Longer-Run Dots Moving Up?

FED

Interestingly, June's longer-run Fed funds Dot distribution has definitely moved up (following the return of the r-star estimates?):

  • While the median remains at 2.5%, there are only 3 participants who now have theirs below 2.5% - in March there were 5 (2 at 2.375%, and 3 at 2.25%; this time there is only 3 at 2.375% and nobody below that).
  • Above 2.50% we now have 7 dots, whereas we had just 4 last time. 7 are right on 2.50%, while it was 8 last time.
  • (Note only 17 participants submit longer-run dots; Bullard usually doesn't' submit one.)
