Lowe Addresses Question Of Expanding Australian Gov't Bond Purchases

RBA

RBA Governor Lowe notes that the Bank hasn't decided to expand bond purchases as of yet. He notes the higher Australian 10-Year yield relative to global peers, and questions whether that is due to the relative lack of purchases in the 5-10 Year sector. Suggests that any expansion of bond buying needs to be assessed in terms of benefits.
