GOLD: Lower U.S. Tsy yields have provided the yellow metal with some support in
Asia-Pac trade, allowing bullion to form a bit of a base. This came after the
last couple of sessions saw lower gold prices as U.S. Tsy yields moved higher,
with Chinese policymakers allaying some of the fear surrounding market fallout
from the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
- This leaves the yellow metal +$4/oz at $1,557/oz as we type.
- Bears worked their way through the bear trigger at the Jan 29 low, and now
look to the Jan 15 low at $1,546.0/oz.
