A fire was reported at a Lukoil refinery in Russia’s Komo Republic region on Sunday according to the country's nuclear and environmental watchdog Rostechnadzor.

  • The fire was caused by failure to comply with safety rules rather than a drone attack.

  • "I would like to immediately reassure the residents of Ukhta and Komi - the fire is not connected with attacks by enemy drones," the refinery wrote on Telegram.
