MEXICO: Mexico Priced $1.05bn of Multi-Tranche Samurai Bonds

  • Bloomberg report that Mexico priced ¥152.2 billion of multi-tranche Samurai bonds. 
  • The sovereign issuer sold ¥152.2bn ($1.05bn) of notes in five tranches, with the three-year part of the deal accounting for almost two thirds of the total size, Bloomberg report citing Daiwa Securities Co., one of the underwriters.
  • They add that buyers included city banks, life insurers, asset management firms as well as domestic and foreign corporations.
