Mixed In Asia

EQUITIES

The major Asia-Pac equity markets were mixed on Tuesday, while e-minis edged higher, even as the latest fiscal proposal from U.S. House Democrats did little to meaningfully narrow the differences observed across the aisle. This came after Monday's impressive gains on Wall St.

  • All in all, it was a fairly sanguine session, with focus on the upcoming debate between U.S. Presidential candidates Trump & Biden.
  • There was also some positive mood music surrounding Brexit matters, although this had no notable impact on the equity space.
  • Nikkei 225 -0.3%, Hang Seng -0.3%, CSI 300 +0.4%, ASX 200 -0.1%.
  • S&P 500 futures +8, DJIA futures +61, NASDAQ 100 futures +10.
