A mix of positioning swings was seen during Wednesday’s twist flattening of the curve.

  • Preliminary open interest data and price action points to net long cover in TU futures, while FV & TY futures saw fresh shorts added on net.
  • Further out the curve, UXY futures saw fresh longs added on net, while WN & US futures saw net short cover.
  • The net open interest reduction across the futures curve was modest on the day.
