AUSSIE 3-YR TECHS: (Z17) 98.020 & 98.090 Levels Remain Key
*RES 4: 98.200 - Repeated daily highs June
*RES 3: 98.167 - 100-WMA
*RES 2: 98.130 - Low June 20 now resistance
*RES 1: 98.090 - Monthly Highs Aug 4 & 11, High Nov 24
*PRICE: 98.070 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 98.032 - 21-DMA
*SUP 2: 98.020 - Low Nov 16 & 17
*SUP 3: 97.966 - 100-DMA
*SUP 4: 97.960 - Low Nov 1
*COMMENTARY: Hesitation at the 98.090 resistance remains less than ideal for
bulls with a close above needed to reconfirm focus on 98.130-200 where the
100-WMA is situated. Initial support remains at 98.020 with bears needing a
close below to ease bullish pressure and confirm a break of the 21-DMA. Below
97.960 is then needed to confirm a break of the 100-DMAs with immediate pressure
shifting to 97.900-926 where the 55-DMA is noted.
AUSSIE 10-YR TECHS: (Z17) Focus On 97.5082-5200
*RES 4: 97.6100 - High June 27
*RES 3: 97.5221 - Low June 20 now resistance
*RES 2: 97.5200 - Low June 20 now resistance
*RES 1: 97.5082 - 200-WMA
*PRICE: 97.4800 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 97.4400 - Hourly support Nov 22
*SUP 2: 97.3950 - Low Now 20
*SUP 3: 97.3774 - 21-DMA
*SUP 4: 97.3298 - 200-DMA
*COMMENTARY: The close above 97.4500 reconfirmed the bullish bias and saw
immediate focus back on 97.5082-5200 where the 200-WMA is situated. The daily
momentum study is well placed for a fresh leg higher. The Bollinger top
(97.5221) is currently the key concern for bulls. Bears still need a close below
97.4400 to ease bullish pressure and shift initial focus to 97.3774-3950 where
the 21-DMA is noted.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) 124-16 Support Key This Week
*RES 4: 125-20+ 100-DMA
*RES 3: 125-11+ 55-DMA
*RES 2: 125-07 High Nov 15
*RES 1: 125-04 High Nov 22 & 23
*PRICE: 124-31 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 124-29+ 21-DMA
*SUP 2: 124-27 Hourly support Nov 22
*SUP 3: 124-19 Lows Nov 21 & 22
*SUP 4: 124-16 Low Nov 14
*COMMENTARY: Despite pressure returning to 124-16 bulls took comfort in support
emerging ahead providing the catalyst for a bounce back towards 125-07/125-25+
where the bear channel top, 55 & 100-DMAs are located. Overall bulls need a
close above 125-07 to gain breathing room and above 125-25+ to confirm breaks of
key DMAs, ending bearish hopes and shifting immediate focus to 126-04+/09. Below
124-16 initially pressures 124-02/06.
US 10-YR YIELD TECHS: Bulls Need Close Above 2.386
*RES 4: 2.419 - Hourly support Oct 27 now resistance
*RES 3: 2.386 - Hourly resistance Nov 14
*RES 2: 2.379 - High Nov 16
*RES 1: 2.352 - High Nov 24
*PRICE: 2.340 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 2.319 - Low Nov 15
*SUP 2: 2.312 - 55-DMA
*SUP 3: 2.306 - 200-DMA
*SUP 4: 2.282 - 100-DMA
*COMMENTARY: Bulls failed to gain traction above the 21-DMA (2.362) with the
yield rejected ahead of the 2.379-386 resistance region and pressuring supports
once more. The 2.273-3.319 support region is key. 55, 100 & 200-DMAs are noted
in this region with bears needing a close below 2.273 to confirm breaks and
shift immediate focus to 2.207. Bulls look for a close above 2.386 to ease
bearish pressure and above 2.419 to return initial focus to 2.477.
JGB TECHS: (Z17) 151.13-21 Resistance Region Key This Week
*RES 4: 151.38 - Daily Bull channel top
*RES 3: 151.33 - High Sept 12
*RES 2: 151.21 - Low Sept 2 now resistance
*RES 1: 151.13 - High Nov 24
*PRICE: 151.04 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 150.94 - Low Nov 24
*SUP 2: 150.88 - High Nov 16 now support
*SUP 3: 150.78 - 21-DMA
*SUP 4: 150.69 - 55-DMA
*COMMENTARY: The topside failures ahead of 151.21 has left the contract looking
heavy and pressuring initial support. The break of 151.02 lacked follow through
Friday but bulls now need a close above 151.13 to return immediate pressure to
151.21. Bulls need a close above 151.21 to reconfirm the bullish bias and
initially target the bull channel top and then 151.51 2017 highs. Bears now need
a close below 150.94 to pressure the 21-DMA.
