MNI BRIEF: BOJ Kuroda: To Watch Risks While Managing Policy

(MNI) Tokyo
TOKYO (MNI)

Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said on Thursday that the BOJ continues to manage monetary policy in a flexible manner while paying attention to financial imbalance and other risks and that now isn't the time for the bank to discuss when to exit from its easy policy.

Kuroda also told lawmakers that the recent strength in the stock market reflected players' view that the global economy continues to recover and that corporate profits will rise, countering expectations of asset bubbles due to prolonged easy policy.
