MNI BRIEF:China To Resolve EV Disputes With EU Via Negotiation

MNI (BEIJING) - China will continue to work closely with the EU to resolve disputes over Chinese electric vehicles as soon as possible, and reach an agreement in line with common interests and WTO rules, according to a statement on the Ministry of Commerce website on Tuesday.

China believes mutual concerns can be addressed through negotiations should the EU show sincerity and meet halfway, the statement said, noting the anti-subsidy case against Chinese EVs is complex and challenging for both sides to negotiate.
