MNI (BEIJING) - China and the U.S. can strengthen dialogue and negotiation on economic and trade issues, as the two countries have significant common interests and room for cooperation despite friction, Xinhua News Agency reported citing Chinese Vice President Han Zheng on Monday.

The recent call between Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump reached many important consensuses on the development of Sino-U.S. relations in the next stage, and China is willing to implement the consensus and work with the U.S. to promote a stable, healthy and sustainable relation, said Han, during his meeting with U.S. Vice President-elect Cyrus J.D.
