MNI BRIEF: ECB Set For Dec Discussion On QT

(MNI) LONDON

The European Central Bank will discuss plans for a reduction in the size of its balance sheet, at least reducing the APP monetary portfolio, at the December meeting, President Christine Lagarde said Thursday.

According to Lagarde, initial talks on unwinding the balance sheet were held in early October, although decisions or outcomes were sought.
