MNI BRIEF: Mexico Inflation 4.42% In March, Below Consensus

Mexico's INPC annual inflation was 4.42% in March, the Mexican National Institute of Statistics and Geography said on Tuesday, announcing a figure below the 4.50% consensus forecast.

Core inflation was 4.55%, also lower than the 4.63% consensus. In February, the general INPC was at 4.4%.

"In March 2024, the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) recorded an increase of 0.29% compared to the previous month. With this result, annual general inflation stood at 4.42%.
