MNI BRIEF: UK Homeowners House Price Confidence Dips: Halifax

(MNI) LONDON
LONDON (MNI)

Fewer households in the UK believe the value of their home increased in November compared to the previous month, the Halifax Price Sentiment Tracker published Monday showed.

The survey, run jointly with IHS Markit, found just 14% of those asked this month "felt the value of their home rose over the last month, down from 17% in both September and October", but still significantly above the low of 4% recorded during the first national lockdown in May.

November's House Price Sentiment Tracker fell from 52.4 to 51.6, above the neutral threshold for the third month running.
