underlying trend of inflation -- rose 0.7% on year in October in Tokyo, up from
0.6% y/y last month.
--Energy costs dipped further, down by 2.1% y/y in October, following the
0.9% y/y decrease last month. Processed food prices accelerated to 1.7% y/y in
October from previous 0.9% y/y.
