MNI European Morning Briefing

     LONDON (MNI) - Another quiet start to the week on Monday, first up on the
economic docket are Spanish Industrial Orders and Services Survey at 0700GMT.
     Also at 0700GMT ECB Executive Board member Peter Praet will deliver a
speech at the ECB conference on Credit, Banking and Monetary Policy, in
Frankfurt.
     Hitting the wires at 0900GMT are the second estimates of Eurozone
Government Deficit and Debt figures.
     The first UK release of the day comes at 1000GMT in the form of CBI
Industrial Trends figures.
     Across the Atlantic the first release from North America is Canadian
Wholesale Trade data at 1230GMT. A quiet afternoon features ECB Supervisory
Board chair Daniele Nouy who will participate in "Everything is connected - the
international dimension of banking regulation and supervision" at the Centre for
European Law , in London at 1730GMT.
     Rounding off the day at 1900GMT are preliminary US Treasury Allotments.
