- Consumer's opinions regarding their future financial situation continued to
recover in May, with the sub-index reaching its highest level since Jun 2017
- The share of households that feel it is a good time to make large purchases
rose above its long-run average level in May for the first time since Oct
- The proportion of households feeling that they need to save remained unchanged
after having increased sharply in Apr
- Household fears over unemployment dropped sharply after having increased
significantly in Mar & Apr
