  • The most notable domestic events for UK markets this week will be a speech by Huw Pill on Friday as well as the DMP data and final prints of the PMIs.
  • We look ahead to Pill's speech. We think there is a chance that he uses the word "gradual" - the latest MPC buzzword.
  • The DMP data will be due for release on Thursday and has become one of the most watched released from MPC members looking at firms’ expectations for hiring, wage growth and price growth. 
  • The Conservative Party conference continues against this backdrop and we look at the timetable for the leadership election.
