LONDON (MNI) - Its a fairly light data session Wednesday, and the European
calendar gets underway at 1000GMT, with the release of the October Euro Area
industrial production data. Two other key pieces for release are the December
weekly US MBA mortgage applications at 1200GMT and November US CPI data at
1330GMT.
Industrial production in the Euro Area is anticipated to grow by 0.3% m/m
in October. In September, it declined by 0.3%.
Prior mortgage applications in the US grew by 2.0%.
US CPI in October grew by 0.3% m/m. The MNI median is expecting November
CPI to be flat on a m/m basis.
The only scheduled speech of the day is at 1330GMT, when ECB Supervisory
Board member Pentti Hakkarainen speaks in Frankfurt.
