MNI GLOBAL MORNING BRIEFING: Eye On EZ Factory Gate Inflation

Swiss consumer prices and eurozone factory gate inflation will be the highlights Monday

Early data sees the Swiss June CPI data released at 0730BST, the first look at data since the SNB's surprise 50 bps rate hike in June. Analysts are looking for the headline rate to pick up from 2.9% in May to 3.2%.

Turkey June CPI is due at 0800BST and will underline the inflationary pressures. Month-on-month prices are seen picking up to 5.7%, with annual CPI accelerating to 79.9% from 73.5% in May.

Eurozone May factory gate inflation due at 1000 is expected to show an increase of 0.9% Y/Y, with the annual rate slowing modestly to 36.6% from 37.2% in April.

Across the Atlantic, the Bank of Canada's Business Outlook and Consumer Survey will be published.
