Trump’s big win came in the form of ‘election denier’ Doug Mastriano in the Pennsylvania gubernatorial primary but Trump endorsees Madison Cawthorn and Janice McGeachin lost their races in North Carolina and Idaho.
  • On the Democrat side, John Fetterman took the nomination for the Pennsylvania Senate. Fetterman has broad appeal, and the open Pennsylvania Senate seat is the best chance for a Democrat flip in November.
  • 11:00 ET 16:00 BST: Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin will host Swedish Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist at the Pentagon. Tomorrow, President Biden will host Finland’s President Sauli Niinistö and Sweden’s Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson at the White House. NATO accession will be on the agenda.
  • In an attempt to remove the final obstacle to Nordic NATO aspirations, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu at 10:00 ET 15:00 BST today.
