US 5-YR FUTURE TECHS: (U18) Pressuring 55-DMA
*RES 4: 113-21+ High July 9
*RES 3: 113-17+ High July 17
*RES 2: 113-17 21-DMA, 100-DMA
*RES 1: 113-13+ Hourly resistance July 18
*PRICE: 113-11+ @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 113-10 55-DMA
*SUP 2: 113-05 Low June 21
*SUP 3: 112-29 Monthly Low June 13
*SUP 4: 112-25+ High May 18 now support
*COMMENTARY: Topside hesitation ahead at 113-21+ has resulted in traction below
the bull channel base (113-17+) off May lows with immediate pressure on the
55-DMA. Bears now look for a close below the 55-DMA to hint at a move back to
112-25+/29 with below 113-05 to confirm. Bulls now need a close above 113-13+ to
gain breathing room and above 113-17+ to shift initial focus back to 113-21+/26.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (U18) Bears Need Close Below 119-26+
*RES 4: 120-20 High July 6
*RES 3: 120-13 Hourly resistance July 12
*RES 2: 120-08 High July 17
*RES 1: 120-03+ 21-DMA
*PRICE: 119-30+ @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 119-26+ Low June 26
*SUP 2: 119-23+ Bollinger band base
*SUP 3: 119-26+ Low June 26
*SUP 4: 119-19+ 55-DMA
*COMMENTARY: Hesitation ahead of 120-08/13 continues and sees pressure back on
the 119-26+ support. Bears need a close below 119-26+ to confirm traction below
the 21-DMA and initially pressure 119-13+/19+ where the 55-DMA is found. The
120-08/20 resistance region is now key. Bulls now look for a close above 120-08
to gain breathing room and above 120-20 to confirm focus on the key 121-03/12
region.
US 30-YR FUTURE TECHS: (U18) Bears Need Close Below 144-16
*RES 4: 145-28 High July 9
*RES 3: 145-12 High July 17
*RES 2: 145-00 21-DMA
*RES 1: 144-20 Hourly resistance July 19
*PRICE: 144-17 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 143-30 Low June 2
*SUP 2: 143-15 55-DMA, 100-DMA
*SUP 3: 143-01 Low June 21
*SUP 4: 142-01 Monthly low June 7
*COMMENTARY: Hesitation ahead of the 145-28/147-03 resistance region is less
than ideal for bulls and sees U18 flirting with the 144-16 support. Bears need a
close below this level to confirm traction below the 21-DMA and below 143-30 to
pressure 143-01/15 where 55 & 100-DMAs are noted. Bulls now look for a close
above 145-12 to gain breathing room and above 147-03 to confirm a break of the
bear channel top and initially target the 149-22/00 region.
US EURODOLLAR FUTURE TECHS: (U18) Focus On Key Support
*RES 4: 97.680 Weekly high Mar 23
*RES 3: 97.640 Monthly high May 30
*RES 2: 97.595 High May 31
*RES 1: 97.560 Repeated Daily highs June
*PRICE: 97.530 @ 0930GMT
*SUP 1: 97.529 Bollinger band base
*SUP 2: 97.520 Repeated Daily lows June
*SUP 3: 97.500 Low June 14
*SUP 4: 97.475 2018 Low Apr 25, May 8 & June 13
*COMMENTARY: Hesitation ahead of the 100-DMA (97.555) has resulted in a break of
the 55-DMA (97.534) with immediate focus now on the key 97.520 support. Bears
need a close below 97.520 to confirm breaks of 21 (97.541) & 55-DMAs, easing
bullish pressure, with a close below 97.500 then required to pressure the key
97.475 support. Above 97.560 ends bearish hopes and shifts initial focus to
97.595 and overall focus to 97.640.
