Latest polling from Morning Consult shows Republican respondents more keen on Donald Trump making a run for the presidency in 2024 than Democrat supporters are for President Joe Biden to seek a second term.
- Of stated Democrat supporters, only 35% said Biden should definitely run again, compared to 49% of Republicans saying the same about Trump.
- Among Democrat supporters 74% said Trump should not run again, compared to 78% of Republicans saying the same thing about Biden.
- Among all voters, 58% said Biden probably or definitely should not run again. This compares to 56% of all voters saying the same about Trump.
