TYU3 deals at 111-12, -0-01, in line with late NY levels.

  • Cash tsys finished little changed across the major benchmarks on Tuesday.
  • In a mostly data light session tsys observed narrow ranges with little follow through on moves. Tsys firmed through the European session briefly extending gains as e-minis firmed to session highs.
  • Gains were pared as the US Tsy announced larger than expected Q3 Issuance of $1.007tn in privately held marketable debt.
  • FOMC dated OIS remain stable, a terminal rate of ~5.40% is seen in November. There are ~55bps of cuts priced to June 2024.
  • The latest monetary policy decision from the RBA headlines today's Asia-Pac session, the decision looks to be finely balanced between a hold at 4.10% and a 25bp rate increase.
  • Further out we have a slew of US data including JOLTS Job openings and ISM Mfg Survey. Fedspeak from Chicago Fed President Goolsbee crosses.
