N. Korea Likely Fired Three Short-Range Ballistic Missiles

NORTH KOREA

North Korea test-fired three short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs), one of which hit waters south of the Northern Limit Line (NLL), Yonhap News Agency reports citing South Korea's military.

  • Asahi had earlier reported that North Korea may have fired multiple rather than just one missile this morning.
  • South Korea removed air raid alert in an island east off the Korean peninsula after no damage from the missiles was detected.
