Friday's weakness in WTI futures failed to extend below Thursday's low at $57.33

but recovery efforts have lacked momentum keeping the near term outlook bearish.

A break below here would bring the March 8 low at $55.80 into play ahead of the

50% retracement at $55.36. To stabilise the outlook bulls need to recover the

200-dma which sits at $60.61. Above here would return the focus to the May 20

high at $63.96.
