Narrow Ranges On Tuesday, Docket Light This Week


USD/JPY prints at ¥142.30/50, the pair was little changed yesterday.

  • Yen observed narrow ranges on Tuesday with little follow through on moves, a ¥142.10/50 range persisted for the most part in USD/JPY with the pair stable through the session.
  • Trend conditions remain bearish, immediate support is at ¥141.87 (22 Dec low) and ¥140.97, low from Dec 14. Resistance comes in at ¥144.96, high from Dec 19.
  • November Housing Starts is the only data of note today. Further out due this week is November Retail Sales and Industrial Production (flash reading).
